Find the exact cut for your car

The most common ordering mistake in this category is not picking the wrong brand — it is picking the wrong screen. Manufacturers fit different displays across trims of the same model. Three steps, and you have the right one.

Find the exact cut for your car

Three taps. No guessing which screen your trim has.

Before you order

How to measure your infotainment screen

Two minutes with a tape measure removes all the guesswork. Here is exactly what to measure and what to ignore.

  1. 01

Measure the glass, not the surround

Run a tape or ruler diagonally across the black glass panel, from one corner of the display to the opposite corner. Ignore the plastic bezel and any trim — manufacturers quote the diagonal of the active display area only.

  2. 02

Round to the nearest listed size

We cut for 7-inch, 8-inch, 9-inch, 10-inch, 10.1-inch, 10.25-inch displays. Your measurement will land within a few millimetres of one of them. If it sits exactly between two, check your variant's specification sheet or send us a photo.

  3. 03

    Check the corner shape

Some models ship the same nominal screen size in two different corner profiles, and a few change panel at a mid-cycle facelift. If your car is one of them, or you are between two sizes, send us a photo of the display with a tape measure across it and we will confirm the cut before you order.

Still not sure? Email us a photo of your screen with a tape measure across the diagonal and we will confirm the right cut before you order.

Questions

Fitment questions, answered

Because manufacturers fit different displays across trims of the same model. A Kia Sonet, Maruti Baleno, Honda Elevate and Toyota Glanza can each have either of two screen sizes depending on the variant you bought. Listing them separately is the only honest way to do it.

Check the specification sheet for your exact variant and model year — manufacturers publish the display diagonal. If you still cannot tell, message us a photo of the screen with a tape measure across it and we will tell you which cut you need.

Look at the top-left corner of the black glass with the screen off. A round-corner panel has a visibly generous radius, roughly the corner of a smartphone. A thin-corner panel is much tighter, closer to a right angle with only a small chamfer. If yours looks different to the product photos on the listing, message us before ordering.

We add models continuously and prioritise by how often they are requested. Email protecterrcommodities@gmail.com with your car, variant, model year and a photo of the display with a tape measure across the diagonal.

Yes, on facelifted cars. A mid-cycle facelift frequently brings a new head unit with a different panel — the Honda City 2023 facelift, the Kia Sonet 2024 facelift and the Mahindra Thar 2025 facelift all changed screens. The year range on each listing tells you which generation it covers.
